PULWAMA — A book reading session was on Wednesday organized by Kashmakash in Pulwama wherein Gowhar Geelani, author of ‘Kashmir – Rage & Reason’, turned into a storyteller.

The book reading session was held at Kashmir Creative Education Foundation (KCEF) College of Education / Law in the southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Among the audience included a young and budding group of authors and poets who looked elated by the presence of Gowhar Geelani.

“There are many books written on Kashmir from the Indian state’s perspective or Pakistani state’s perspective. That was one of biggest motivations to write about Kashmir from Kashmiri perspective, even if is unpalatable, to tell it in an unadulterated form,” Gowhar Geelani said while speaking on the occasion.
