SRINAGAR — A militant outfit ‘People’s Anti-Fascist Front’ in Jammu and Kashmir has released a video, which is viral on social media, threatening to stall the Sainik Colony project of the UT administration.

The group has released a video showing a masked militant, donning a Pheran—Kashmir’s traditional outfit, who says, “The war has now started as RSS agents are going to be housed in Sainik colonies. We never want to hurt civil population but these people (likely to occupy the Sainik colonies) will never be considered civilians.”

The militant, with many weapons and ammunition in front over his table in the video, threatens to attack the occupants of the upcoming Sainik colonies, in a bid to stall the project.

The militant group is believed to be a shadow of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit, as per security establishment within the UT.

Pertinently, some media reports have suggested recently that the J&K administration has identified 25 acres of land in Budgam district to set up Kashmir’s first Sainik colony, which has been a demand of retired armed forces personnel in Kashmir.
