PULWAMA — Jammu & Kashmir Police on Monday distributed COVID-19 safety kits among needy people under Civic Action Programme in third phase held in Tral area of Pulwama.
As per a statement issued here, 232 COVID-19 containment kits were distributed at Police Station Khrew and Pampore in the first phase and 117 COVID-19 kits were distributed at Police Station Awantipora in the second phase.
“Today in third phase, 117 COVID-19 safety kits were distributed at Police Station Tral,” police said.
SHO PS Tral, Ghulam Mohammad Rather held the distribution function at Police Station Tral.
“Each COVID-19 safety kit contains one steam vaporizer, two face shields, 100 surgical masks, one oximeter, one digital thermometer, one sanitizer bottle (500 ml), one box of hand gloves, one hand wash and other essential items, which were distributed among the poor and needy families,” the statement said.
On the occasion, SHO PS Tral said that there is a need for sensitizing the society to protect the poor families from COVID-19.
