He said that since March 26, he contacted all authorities in Jammu and Kashmir administration to either evacuate him or provide some accommodation in Delhi as he had no money left now and it was difficult for him to survive in Delhi without money.

He alleged that administration failed to help him in any way and due to which he wasn’t able to take care of his son properly. “When administration failed, I tried to take help from an ambulance but driver asked me to pay ₹60,000 first and said that if we were stopped by authorities anywhere, we will return but won’t return your money,” he said.

He said that when he was not getting any help from any side, a person from Delhi came to his rescue and provided him accommodation, besides other facilities.

“He helped me on a condition to keep my name hidden and I don’t have words how can I thank him, besides journalists from Kashmir, especially Qayoom Khan, helped me,” Magray said.

He alleged that the tall claims of administration were just on papers and Twitter and in reality, they don’t provide any help to the needy persons at all.
