SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a detailed notification announcing the schedule and guidelines for the screening test for the posts of Horticulture Development Officer (HDO) and Agriculture Officer (AO) in the Horticulture and Floriculture departments, respectively.

According to the notice, dated January 23, 2015, the screening test will be held on February 8, 2015 (Sunday) across Jammu and Srinagar. The test will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates can download their admit cards from the JKPSC website (www.jkpsc.nic.in) starting February 3, 2015.

The notice includes three annexures:

  • Annexure (A) lists the candidates eligible for the screening test for Horticulture Development Officer.
  • Annexure (B) lists candidates eligible for the Agriculture Officer screening.
  • Annexure (C) provides a list of candidates who have been rejected, along with reasons such as not possessing the prescribed qualification or lack of proof of qualification by the cutoff date.

JKPSC has made it clear that the admit cards will not be sent individually by post. Candidates who are unable to download their admit cards can contact the Commission offices in Jammu or Srinagar during office hours.

The Commission also emphasized that:

  • Mere appearance in the screening test does not guarantee selection or fulfillment of eligibility.
  • Rejected candidates may appeal with valid documentary proof and a representation letter before February 2, 2015, for reconsideration.
