COVID-19: Schools from Class 9th to 12th closed for another week

SRINAGAR — Amid spike in COVID-19 cases, the government extended closure of schools for Class 9th to 12th for another week in Kashmir valley, starting from tomorrow.

Lieutenant Governor of J&K, on its official Twitter handle, tweeted that in view of the continuing spike in the reported cases of infection, all schools in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir shall continue to remain closed for imparting on-campus / in-person education to the students of all classes (i.e., up to and including Class 12).

Therefore, the closure of schools in Kashmir will continue till April 18, 2021.
