SRINAGAR — Along with the Riflewomen of the Assam Rifles, Army soldiers in Jammu & Kashmir have received substantial help to execute security operations successfully during the militant attacks.
The Assam Rifles Riflewomen have been stationed at the Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) in Ganderbal and other parts of Jammu.
They have been stationed in parts of Kashmir, assisting male troops in frisking women and children at motor vehicle checkpoints.
During cordon and search operations, these Riflewomen will also play a crucial role.
Indian security forces are, therefore, witnessing a remarkable change in routine affairs especially in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district after Assam Rifles deployed female security personnel in the area.
