Government forces during a CASO in Kashmir

PULWAMA — Amid intermittent rainfall, the government forces on Wednesday launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Naira, Tahab villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants, a joint team of forces including 55 RR, 180 CRPF and SOG Pulwama launched a search operation there.

During the searches, intense clashes broke out between forces and youth in the area during which forces used tear gas canisters to disperse the youth.
