CASO launched after grenade attack on Police Station Pulwama

Pulwama: Suspected militants on Friday lobbed a grenade at Police Station Pulwama in south Kashmir.

Reports said that the grenade was lobbed at the police station that exploded with a bang.

Official sources said that security guards fired in the air when militants hurled a hand grenade towards police station this evening. However, the grenade exploded without causing any damage, they said.

Panic gripped in the area as sound of the grenade was heard in the entire town.

Security forces and state police personnel immediately launched a massive search operation to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
