
SRINAGAR — A policeman deployed at a guard post of a BJP leader in south Kashmir died after suffering from a heart attack.
Unnamed police sources, quoted by the news agency KNT, said that a 54-year-old head constable was deployed at a BJP leader’s guard post at Galander Pampore where he suffered a heart attack and was taken to SDH Pampore where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased policeman has been identified as Inder Kumar son of Late Paras Ram, a resident of Thanda Pani, Sunderbani.
In this regard, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of law.
