PULWAMA — A girl has gone missing from Rahmoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district a couple of days ago.

Named Shazia Yousuf, the 19-year-old girl is unwell as far as her mental condition is concerned. “Since last eight months, she is not mentally fit,” her father, Mohammad Yousuf Bhagat, said.

He added, “She went missing during evening time on 21 June. Since then, there is no information about her whereabouts.”

However, SHO Rajpora, Sarjan Ahmad, said that the girl went missing earlier as well. “She went missing on June 09 for three days. When she was traced and produced in Court, she alleged that a youth, Javed Ahmad Wani son of Sonaullah Wani from Brahward Chadoora kidnapped her,” he informed.

The SHO further revealed that the girl was handed over to her parents later while the accused was booked under FIR 46/2020 under IPC Section 366/376 at PS Rajpora and taken under police custody where he continues to remain detained.
