Gunfight rages in Pulwama’s Renzipora village

Srinagar: An encounter started between militants and government forces in Renzipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning.

Reports said that gunfight ensued after government forces cordoned off the village after specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area and started a search operation.

They said that during the searches, the hiding militants fired at the forces triggering a gunfight.

According to sources, two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
