PULWAMA — A 29-year-old man has gone missing in the Pulwama district of southern Kashmir, distressing his whole family.

Fayaz Ahmad Yatoo, son of Ghulam Ahmad Yatoo from Putrigam village in the south Kashmir district, has been missing since January 10, 2022 (Monday), according to reports.

Ghulam Ahmad Yatoo, Fayaz’s father, told The Kashmir Pulse that his son worked as a driver and was being treated for mental health issues.

“My son did not come home after offering Magrib prayers on Monday evening and was reported missing. We looked for him everywhere and did everything we could think of, but we couldn’t find him. We also filed a missing person’s complaint with the local police station (Police Station Rajpora),” the anxious father of the missing individual added.

His wife, who was visibly shaken and unable to speak clearly, said she was in Jammu when she heard of the tragic event. “I have two small daughters to look after and don’t know what I’ll do without him,” the heartbroken woman said, pleading with the public to assist her in finding her husband.

Another resident, who did not want to be identified, pleaded with the district officials, particularly the local police, to find the missing Fayaz Ahmad.
