MeT predicts snow and rains from November 12


Srinagar: Kashmir Valley will likely witness a widespread snowfall in coming week.

Valley received unexpected snowfall few days back as a result there was a complete power breakdown across Kashmir.

Whole valley plunged into darkness due to sudden snowfall. The unpreparedness on part of authorities shocked one and all.

Governor administration came under heavy criticism after there was power breakdown across Kashmir Valley due to few inches of snow.

An official said that they are ready to meet any challenge this time.

Two-day wet spell likely from December 7: MeT

A MeT official said that there is every possibility of scattered to fairly widespread rain/snowfall in Valley from 12th to 14th November.

He added that advisory for 3 days from November 12 to 14 has already been sent to administration.

Meanwhile, Kashmir capital Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season on Wednesday with the mercury settling at minus 2.2 Degree Celsius for the first time. (CNS)
