Srinagar: Police in a nocturnal raid arrested the father of popular militant commander Riyaz Naikoo in south Kashmir’s Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
Sources said that Riyaz, alias Mohammah Bin Qasim is the chief operations of Hizb-Ul-Mujahideen militant outfit.

They said that police raided the house of Assadullah Naiko at Beighpora area of Awantipora in the district and arrested him during last night.
A senior police official confirmed the arrest of Assadullah and added that he has been detained for questioning.
