SRINAGAR — An Army soldier, who was injured during an encounter on Friday evening at Kanigam in Shopian district of south Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
An official said that a soldier Anil Kumar Tomar of 44 RR, who was critically injured during the encounter, succumbed to his injuries.
Pertinently, two local Al-Badr militants were killed and two soldiers died in a 19-hour-long gunfight in Kanigam, Shopian.
