PULWAMA — Suspected militants on Saturday attacked CRPF personnel guarding State Bank of India’s Pulwama branch.
The attack was carried out by lobbing a grenade towards the government forces. The grenade exploded with a bang.
In this incident, one CRPF man received splinter injury. He was identified as Suraj Chand Narjary of 182 Bn.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said that one CRPF man was injured who was shifted to a nearby hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, more forces personnel have been rushed to the spot and searches have been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
