Khanam’s Placement Cell recruitment drive for multiple posts

SRINAGAR — In a significant employment push aimed at uplifting unemployed youth, Khanam’s Placement Cell at Khanam’s Education Campus, Lawaypora, Srinagar, has announced a fast-track recruitment drive for various teaching and non-teaching positions in affiliated schools across Kashmir.

According to an official notice issued by the CEO of Khanam’s Placement Cell, applications are invited on plain paper along with a copy of CV and testimonials from eligible candidates. The last date for submission is July 2, 2015. Applications can be dropped either at the main office in Lawaypora or at the offices of the concerned school principals.

The recruitment will be conducted for the following schools:

Khanam’s Public Higher Secondary School, Lawaypora, Srinagar

Sabir Abdullah Public High School (SAPHS), Dialgam, Anantnag

SAPHS Panzinara, Srinagar

SAPHS Gopalpora, Budgam

SAPHS Awantipora, Pulwama

SAPHS Tral, Pulwama

The drive covers seven categories of posts with a total of 93 vacancies, including:

General Line Teachers (35 Posts): Applicants must hold B.Ed. along with degrees in B.Sc., Medical, Non-Medical, or B.A. in subjects like Maths, Urdu, Social Science, English, Kashmiri, or Arabic. A desirable qualification includes M.Sc. or M.A. in the relevant subject and a minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience.

LPD Teachers (20 Posts): Similar educational qualifications as General Line Teachers, with ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education) preferred and at least 3–5 years’ experience in LPD teaching.

Physical Education Teachers (8 Posts): Candidates must have B.P.Ed or C.P.Ed, with participation in national games considered an advantage and at least 3–5 years’ experience required.

Computer Teachers (6 Posts): A B.C.A. or Diploma in Computer Application is essential, with an M.C.A. as a desirable qualification. Applicants must have at least 2 years of teaching experience in computer education.

Clerks (6 Posts): Applicants must hold a B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com, with preference for those with degrees in commerce or mathematics and at least 2 years of office work experience.

Teaching Assistants (10 Posts): A B.A. or B.Sc. is required, with B.Ed or ETTE qualifications preferred and a minimum of 3 years of LPD experience.

Drivers (10 Posts): Applicants must possess a matriculation certificate along with a Hill Driving or Commercial License and have at least 5 years of driving experience.

Importantly, candidates selected for postings outside their home districts will be entitled to conveyance or transport allowances as per applicable rules.

This initiative by Khanam’s Charitable Trust is being hailed as a timely step to address rising unemployment in the Valley and improve the quality of education through qualified recruitment.
