SRINAGAR — The Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir, has announced the schedule for the second compulsory contact programme for B.Ed students enrolled in the 2014-15 session through distance mode.
According to the official notification issued on January 30, 2015, the 20-day contact programme will commence in February across five districts — Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Budgam, and Shopian — with specific dates and venues designated for each enrollment series.
In Anantnag, students bearing enrollment numbers from 1440001 to 1440350 are required to report to Rehmat-e-Aalam College of Education on February 3, while those from 1440351 to 1440537 will attend Jamia College of Education starting February 9. Both sessions begin at 11:00 AM.
The programme for students from Kulgam (enrollment series 1450001–1450296) will commence on February 4 at Government Degree College Kulgam. Pulwama students (1460001–1460341) are to report on February 5 at Government Degree College Pulwama, while Budgam students (1420001–1420271) will also begin on the same day at Government Degree College Budgam.

Students enrolled from Shopian (1470001–1470183) are scheduled to start their programme on February 5 at Government Degree College Shopian, with all sessions beginning at 11:00 AM.
The University has made 60% attendance mandatory for all students, warning that those failing to meet this requirement will not be permitted to sit for the Internal Assessment Test.
The notification was issued under No. f(Contact Prog-B.Ed)/DDE/KU/2015/DDE-101 by the Assistant Registrar of the Directorate of Distance Education.
