National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)

Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education has issued a Scholarship Notification regarding National Talent Search Examination 2018-19 for Class 10th students.

The Scholarship Notification for National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) invites applications from Class 10th students.

All those eligible students studying in Class 10th in any Government / Private Schools / Kendriya/Navodya Vidhyalyas or other school recognized/affiliated with JKBOSE or CBSE are, therefore, informed that the National Council of Education, Research & Training (NCERT), New Delhi through the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is going to conduct State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for Session 2018-19 (Stage-I) on 4th November 2018 (Sunday).

Those who are selected/recommended from Stage-I examination, will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination to be conducted by NCERT on 12th May 2019 (Sunday).

JKBOSE Class 10th Result 2021 for Jammu Province declared

Applicant must have secured 60% marks (5% relaxation for ST/SC category) in Class 9th and due for appearing in ensuing Class 10th Annual Examination i.e, October 2018 in Kashmir Division / Winter Zones areas of Jammu Division and March 2019 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.

Scholarship: One thousand scholarships will be awarded and the amount shall be: (a) Rs. 1250/- per month for Class 11 to Class 12th (b) Rs. 2000/- per month for undergraduates & post graduates, and (c) Scholarship amount for PhD shall be fixed in accordance with UGC norms.

Examination: The pattern of written examination will be as follows. Stage-I Examination at State level will comprise of two papers i.e,

The application forms in prescribed proforma and other detailed information about the Scholarship Scheme can be had from JKBOSE website.

The application forms duly attested by the Head of the Institution and accompanied with the requisite documents (Marks Card, Income Certificate and Reserved Category Certificate, if any) along with Pay In slip of Rs. 110 favoring Liaison Officer, NTSE, deposited in JK Bank A/C No. 0547010100000002, Branch BOSE, IFSC Code JAKAOEXAMBR, must reach CDR Wing Bemina, Bypass Srinagar / Rehari Colony, Jammu / Sub / branch Offices of JKBOSE by or before 15th September, 2018.
