وہ جو خواب ہی رہا
بس ایک صراب ہی رہا
ہم تھے اس انجمن کے انجان
اس ندی کا پانی شراب ہی رہا
مجھ میں نہیں تھے چال و چلن

نہ جانے کیوں ہر پل حیران رہتا ہوں جب تمہے دل میں قید رکھتا ہوں میری ہر کوشش ناکام لگتی ہےجب خابوں میں خود کو ویران رکھتا ہوں

یہاں جہلم سے زیادہ آنسوؤں ہیں
یہاں سیلاب میں ڈوبا ہر فرد ہے
