وہ جو خواب ہی رہا
بس ایک صراب ہی رہا
ہم تھے اس انجمن کے انجان
اس ندی کا پانی شراب ہی رہا
مجھ میں نہیں تھے چال و چلن

یہاں جہلم سے زیادہ آنسوؤں ہیں
