SRINAGAR — J&K Tourism Department arranged a musical evening at Badamwari Garden on Saturday to announce the garden’s public opening on March 21 (Sunday).

Various musical programmes were witnessed at the event, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.

Among the many government officials who visited the garden included Sarmad Hafeez (Secretary, J&K Tourism Department) and Dr. GN Itoo (Director, Tourism Kashmir).

Pertinently, the historic Badamwari Garden was closed for visitors despite Almond bloom due to COVID-19 lockdown last year.

The Almond garden, located on the foothills of historic Koh-e-Maran in Srinagar, holds much significance as it heralds the arrival of Spring season in Kashmir.
