PULWAMA — Victor Force Awantipora organized a mega cultural program today in which artists from different districts of Kashmir Valley performed.
Cultural programs in different languages were presented to entertain the audience, present on the occasion.
The program was attended by GOC Victor Force as the special guest while the Commander Sector 12, Sector 2 and Sector 3 besides a good number of other Army officers and youth participated.
Speaking on the occasion, GOC Victor Force Rashim Bhali said that the purpose of organizing this program is to promote Kashmiriyat and attract the youth towards peace and order. “We want to further strengthen the relationship between the Awaam and Jawan so that together we can move this country and especially the valley on the path of development,” he said.
The GOC said, “We want to bring the youth in the realm of law and order, an example of which can be found in the militant who was arrested last night. He said that the Army could have killed this militant but we do not want bloodshed.”
“We welcome young people who want to renounce violence and come to the mainstream,” the GOC added.
At the end of the program, prizes were awarded for the best performances.
