SRINAGAR — A Dental & Medical Education Programme was organized in Srinagar in which renowned doctors, academicians and entrepreneurs participated.

The event, organized on 28 April (Sunday), was held in Tagore Hall Srinagar.

Two guest lectures were also delivered during the programme in which the speakers discussed the progress achieved in dental and oral healthcare.

Dr Ajay Parihar from Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Government College of Dentistry, Indore discussed “CONE BEAM CT – Practicing more efficiently, more effectively & accurately.”

Dr Madhav Nagpal, Consultant Dental & Oral Radiologist) spoke about “Transforming the future from 2D to 3D.”

A Question-Answer session was held later on while as the event concluded with the Vote of Thanks.

It is pertinent to mention that the main focus of the event was the acquisition of Cone Beam CT machine by Srinagar based AB Oral and Maxillofacial Hi-Tech Diagnostic & Imaging Centre.

“The machine will help doctors to diagnose the disease of oral and maxillofacial region,” said Dr Ajaz Masoodi, owner of the diagnostic centre.

He further said that the new technology will also help clinicians in implant placement.
