Pulwama: ‘Wall Of Kindness’ is a concept that originated in Iran and has found its way to Kashmir valley. In a latest development, the wall has come up in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.

A couple of volunteers from Padgampora village have set up the ‘Wall Of Kindness’ to help create a space for donating stuff, mainly clothes, to the poor and needy.

Volunteers namely Umer Aziz and Shadaab painted the wall which is situated near petrol pump in Awantipora. They also put hangers for clothes and other items donated by people.

“I appeal people to donate clothes, shoes, Kangri (Kashmiri firepot) and whatever stuff they can so that the needy people keep warm like we do in the chilly Winters,” said a volunteer, Umer Aziz.
