Yousmarg lacks mobile networks and ATM services

BUDGAM — The tourist destination of Yousmarg in central Kashmir is lacking basic facilities like mobile networks and ATM services, causing inconvenience to visitors.

The locals as well as visitors spoke to The Kashmir Pulse and complained that the tourist place lacks even the basic facilities, which is not acceptable.

A local said that tourists return dejected after visiting Yousmarg as they don’t find mobile networks and ATM services here.

“I wanted to make online payment as I had to buy a cold drink but sadly, there are no mobile networks here. This is not going to lure tourists to this place,” a visitor said.

Given the frequent complaints from the visitors, the authorities need to act and resolve the grievances, so that the tourism picks and provide a good source of revenue to the people associated with the tourism industry.
