PhD Scholor in Islamic Studies from Shopian area of south Kashmir, Dr. Hameed Fayaz delivered a sermon in Pulwama on “The Ultimate Success in Islam”.
The Islamic scholar delivered this sermon last year in a mosque at Dangerpora area of Pulwama.

Dr. Abdul Hameed Fayaz is a famous Islamic Scholar and a firebrand orator of Jammu and Kashmir. He was born in 1957 in Nadigam village of south Kashmir’s Shopian in Jammu & Kashmir.
He joined Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba in 1978 and became Nazim-e-Zillah, Anantnag (Islamabad) in 1982. He was also Nazim-e-Aala (President) of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba from 1987 till 1997.
Dr. Hameed Fayaz completed his PhD in Urdu from the University of Kashmir in 2001. In 2008, he became Ameer-e-Zillah for District Shopian.
Dr. Hameed became General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami in 2009.
