Clashes erupt in Drabgam village during CASO

PULWAMA — Clashes erupted during a cordon and search operation in Drabgam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources said that soon after the forces launched search operation in the area, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retaliated by tear smoke and sound shells.

Earlier, on specific inputs about the presence of militants, joint team of forces including 44 RR, SOG Rajpora and CRPF launched search operation in the area.

Local sources said that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation amid clashes is going on in the area.
