Government forces lay siege in Baramulla village

BARAMULLA — Government forces on Sunday launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Nowpora village of Wagoora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Sources said that joint team of security forces including 29 RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police ,CRPF personnel cordoned off Nowpora Village.

The search has been launched after receiving credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that government forces sealed all entry and exit points leading to the area.

Door to Door search operation was going on when the report was last filed.
