PULWAMA — Government forces on Friday evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Beighpora village of Awantipora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told KNO that teams of forces jointly including 55 RR and SOG launched search operation after receiving specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
Local sources said that a huge contingent of forces have been deployed and door to door search operation is going on in the area.
Pertinently, Beighpora is the native village of top Hizb Commander Riyaz Naikoo.
