SRINAGAR — Continuing its efforts to reach out to the poor and needy people, Police in Pulwama under the aegis of Civic Action Programme distributed COVID-19 safety kits among poor & needy families at Police Station Rajpora and Police Station Kakapora.
At Police Station Rajpora, DySP Headquarters Pulwama, Sheikh Mohammad Shafi (JKPS) supervised the distribution function besides, SHO Police Station Rajpora and other officers were also present on the occasion.
COVID-19 safety kits including Masks, Sanitizer, Oximeter, Thermometer, Gloves, Face Shield etc were distributed among the poor and needy families, falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajpora. Expert team participated in the distribution function and displayed a detailed demonstration about how to use these items provided in the kit.
Similarly, SDPO Litter, Furqan Qadri (JKPS) supervised the distribution function at Police Station Kakapora, besides SHO Police Station Kakapora and other officers were also present on the occasion.
“General public of the area have appreciated the role of Pulwama Police while tackling pandemic COVID-19 from initial stage till now,” a statement from the Police said.
