Government cancels leaves of medical staff in J&K

SRINAGAR — In the wave of Coronavirus scare, the government has canceled leaves of medical staff and directed them not to leave stations without prior permission from the concerned authorities.

Sources said that the government has communicated to Director Health Services Kashmir, Jammu, GMC principals and Director SKIMS Soura to cancel leaves of all health staff including medical superintendents, doctors and contract workers at all hospitals.

However, the concerned authorities have been told to sanction leaves only in emergency cases.

They have also been told not to leave the stations without prior permission from the concerned authorities.
