Srinagar: Scores of Kashmir University students Tuesday held a march to express solidarity with the students of  Jawaharlal Nehru University.
The students assembled in main lawns of Allama Iqbal library and also launched a signature campaign in “Solidarity with JNU”.
The students shouted slogans like “Students Co-operation Zindabad”.
They also carried banners and placards reading, “Dissent Is Our Right”, “We Question Fascism”, “Solidarity with JNU”, “We stand with JNU”, “Do Not Label Students As Terrorists”, “His Name Is Umar Khalid, He Is Not A Terrorist”.
Meanwhile, scores of boarders of Kashmir University hostels late Monday evening held the funeral prayers in absentia of the three slain militants who were killed earlier in the day in an encounter in JKEDI building in Sempore, Pampore.
