SRINAGAR — Asking people to avoid unnecessary visit to hospitals, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang Kondbarao Pole on Thursday said OPDs in tertiary care hospitals will operate only for emergency cases and patients having Coronavirus symptoms.

“People should restrain from visiting hospitals unnecessarily. They can visit primary health centres and district hospitals for minor ailments. They should visit tertiary care hospitals only in emergency cases or patients having Coronavirus symptoms,” Pandurang said over the phone.

“OPDs in tertiary care hospitals will continue to operate but for only severely ailing patients and those having symptoms of Coronavirus,” he said.
