Extension of Financial Year to June 30?

SRINAGAR — Government on Saturday said that there has been no announcement regarding extension of financial year to 30th June as was being suggested by some reports on social media.

Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu and Kashmir in a tweet said that reports regarding extension of financial year to June 30 found circulating on social media was fake.

”A news item is found circulating in social media about the extension of financial year to 30th June. This is Fake News,” read the tweet by DIPR-J&K.
