CISF man detained after live round found in his bag at Srinagar Airport

SRINAGAR — A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) man was detained at Srinagar Airport after an empty cartridge of Insas rifle was found in his bag.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a CISF driver identified as Naga Raj was detained and handed over to police shortly after a live round was found in his bag at the drop gate during screening.

Sources added that the CISF man was scheduled to leave for Delhi on leave. He is posted at Wagoora Pohru area of Nowgam Srinagar.
