PULWAMA — More than twenty students on Wednesday were injured in a mysterious blast inside a school in Singoo Narbal village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
As per reports, the students were sitting in their tuition centre’s classroom when the blast occurred at around 2:00 PM.
A police spokesman, however, said, “Today at about 1430 hours some explosion took place inside the classroom of standard 10 of a private school (tuition centre) known as Falai-e-Millat at Narbal in district Pulwama.”
“In this incident, as per the last report received, twelve students have sustained injuries. They were rushed to the hospital and are stated to be stable,” he said.
“Police officers have reached the spot and are ascertaining the nature and circumstances of the blast,” said the spokesman.
He added, “A case has been registered and the investigation is in progress.”
