Railway Police Follower shot dead in Kulgam

KULGAM — A Follower working in Railway Police was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Wanpoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Official sources said that militants fired upon one Bantu Ji Sharma son of Triloki Nath near a school in Wanpoh area. He sustained critical injuries and was taken to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Later, the joint forces cordoned off the area after the incident, however, no arrests were made.
