Praising the thieves,
Collaborators in every crime,
Still how innocent we are!
Selling our conscience,
Accepting bribes in the most decent fashion,
Drinking alcohol to become pure,
How innocent we are!
Preaching oneness of God,
But worshipping idols like material,
Feigning decency but the blackest heart,
How innocent we are!
Eating illegal while recommending legal,
Hurting living, while worshipping the dead,
How innocent we are!
Marrying for sex,
Dressing for care,
How innocent we are!
