IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT

In the dead of night, I remind every near and dear.
Those who left us without telling,
Those who kept secrets with them,
Those who taught us the real meaning of life,
Those who left everything for a cause,
Those who left and never came back,
Those who had grievances with us,
Those who kept us waiting,
Those who made us to work hard,

In the dead of night, I remind every near and dear.
When I dream in the pitch dark, I find myself among them.
I play innocent plays with them and speak in their language.
I talk to them and grieve about their absence,
I speak innocence and they reciprocate,
They talk of peace, which is missing in our lives,
They speak of songs, which are only about mourning in our lives.
In the dead of new night, I remind those who had left.
