Everyone has a place to live
But dear, we have no place to live.
Everyone has a house to live in,
But my dear, we have no house to live in.
Birds sleep peacefully in their nests,
But my dear, we have no nests.
Every micro-organism hides itself in safe shelters,
Every cyclone has a habitat of its own,
Every storm rises and subsidizes,
But my dear, our green scars never subsidize.
Tall trees, when fell, fall on the ground,
The innocent as well as traitor get land or water,
But my dear, we have neither land nor water.
Every dog has its own area
Every lion roams in his demarcated area,
But my dear, we have no area to roam and demarcate.
Every year, passports are renewed,
Verifications keep on going,
But my dear, we have no passports to renew.
Everyone is welcomed by its own kith and kin,
Flowers are showered upon their arrival,
But my dear, we have no kith and kin.
Every home has a function to enjoy,
Meeting places to share griefs and sorrows,
But my dear, we have no functions.
Birds and animals reproduce for survival,
They quench their sexual thirst,
But my dear, neither we have facility of reproduction nor quenching sexual thirst.
Everyone is free to live,
But my dear, we are not free to live.
