PULWAMA — The District Health Society Pulwama, under the National Health Mission (NHM), has officially released the provisional selection list for Staff Nurses to be deployed across various health institutions within the district.
The selections, recommended by the designated selection committee, are based on Advertisement Notification No. NRHM/DRHS/Hir/548-53, dated January 13, 2014. A total of 10 candidates have been provisionally selected based on a 100-point merit system to serve at the District Hospital and various Primary Health Centres (PHCs).
Details of Postings and Selected Candidates
- District Hospital & SNCU Pulwama: Fancy Rashid secured the highest merit (72.23), followed by Nabeeza Parveen (67.27), Firdoosa Mohiuddin (66.78), and Roohi Muzamil (66.25)
- PHC Rahmoo: Gulzara Akhtar (66.24) and Fehmeeda Akhtar (64.82)
- PHC Awantipora: Rubia Nazir (62.83)
- PHC Parigam: Nusrat Bashir (67.51) and Saima Jan (62.26)
- PHC Kakapora: Roheena Rashid (60.59)
Mandatory Reporting and Verification Guidelines
According to the official notification issued by the Chief Medical Officer, all selected candidates are required to report to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer Pulwama (Vice Chairperson, District Health Society Pulwama). Candidates must present their original testimonials within seven (7) days of the list’s publication.
The authorities have emphasised that the selection is strictly provisional. Final confirmation is subject to a rigorous verification process of all relevant documents. The notification clarifies that if any deficiency related to a candidate’s eligibility is found at any time, their candidature will be immediately forfeited.
Furthermore, health officials have issued a stern warning against malpractice. The notification explicitly states that if a candidate is found to have used fraudulent means or fake certificates—specifically concerning Permanent Resident Certificates or Married/Unmarried status to falsely claim local criteria benefits—their selection will be cancelled outright, without any prior notice.
