GANDERBAL — The Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Ganderbal, acting as the Convener for the District Rural Health Society, has officially published the highly anticipated selection list for various healthcare positions under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
The detailed notification outlines the successful candidates chosen for critical roles within the district’s healthcare infrastructure.
The release of this list marks the conclusion of a comprehensive recruitment drive that began with advertisement notices earlier in the year. According to the official notification, the final selections were based on screening tests conducted in August and formal interviews held on October 10th and 11th, 2014, at the District Development Commissioner’s Office in Ganderbal.
The recruitment drive focused on bolstering the medical staff at both the district and block levels. The published list details selections and waiting lists for several key categories:
- Staff Nurses: Dedicated placements for the District Hospital Ganderbal.
- FMPHWs (Female Multipurpose Health Workers): Selections made for Staff Nurse posts across Block Ganderbal, Block Lar, and Block Kangan, with specific assignments to both block-level facilities and the District Hospital.
- RBSK Program Hires: Specialised selections for FMPHWs and Pharmacists under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) initiative, distributed across the Ganderbal, Lar, and Kangan blocks.
Notable top-merit candidates include Asifa Maqbool for the District Hospital Staff Nurse position, Tahmeena for the Block Ganderbal FMPHW post, and Dilshada Akther, who secured the highest overall merit (81.61) among FMPHWs in Block Kangan.
Crucial Directives for Selected Candidates
The Chief Medical Officer’s office has issued strict guidelines for all successful applicants:
Reporting Deadline: All selected candidates are directed to report to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Ganderbal, within 21 days from the date of the notification’s publication to collect their formal engagement/hiring orders.
The department emphasised that no individual communication or letters will be sent to the selected candidates. Failure to report within the stipulated 21-day window will result in the forfeiture of the position, and the opportunity will be passed immediately to the next candidate on the official waiting list.
Furthermore, the administration warned that if it is proven at any stage that a candidate provided false information or concealed material facts, their engagement will be summarily cancelled.
