Two Hizb militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Wanpora area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday.

Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have traced the link between the Santro car with close to 40 to 45 kgs of IED aimed for a militant attack and its owner, who it said is an active Hizbul Mujahideen militant.

Two militants were killed in Gundna area in Doda district while a Army man was also killed in the encounter that broke out between government forces and militants on Sunday morning.
