People outraged as shrine damaged in Pulwama village

Pulwama: People in Pulwama’s Pahoo village were aghast as they found the local shrine damaged.

Damages to curtains, window panes of shrine of Syed Lateef-u-Din Ambali (RA) was witnessed as people living nearby ran towards the shrine after they heard what they called ‘banging on window panes’.

A “non-local person” was caught by the locals whom they suspect of desecrating the shrine. He has also been accused of digging the nearby graveyard.

However, the accused who seems mentally unsound was later arrested by J&K Police.
