PULWAMA — Continuing its efforts to fight drug menace, Karwani Islami International organized an anti-drug seminar at Souchh Kral Memorial College of Education in Newa area of Pulwama.

The speakers, which included Sheikh Ghulam Rasool Hami, scholars and students among others, apprised the participant students about the growing abuse of drugs especially in the volatile district of Pulwama.

Ghulam Rasool Hami spoke about various issues that make young people vulnerable to drug abuse. He asked parents as well as teachers to play their role in imparting moral education among school-going children so as to help them grow into good human beings.

It was stressed during the programme that the youth need  to be provided more support from all quarters so as to help them achieve their dreams and keeping them away from the drug abuse and other such ‘misdeeds’.

It is pertinent to mention that Sheikh Ghulam Rasool Hami under the banner of Karwani Islami International has been very vocal against drug abuse and has been striving against the menace from last many years.
