SRINAGAR — Three persons lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Ramban district on Friday.
An official said that a vehicle bearing registration number JK19-9605 rolled down from Mehar in Chenab following which a rescue operation was started.
“In the incident, three persons lost their lives and the dead bodies were retrieved,” he said.
The deceased have been identified as Bharat Singh (52) son of Tej Ram, resident of Teli Majra Seri Ramban; Vikram Singh (30) son of Bharat Singh, resident of Teli Majra Seri Ramban and Rohit Katoch (17) son of Surjit Katoch, resident of Galibas Ramban.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the tragic fatalities and started an investigation in this regard.
