PULWAMA — The locals in Newa area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district complained that the Naib-Tehsildar office located there has been locked from the last four months.
The locals on Tuesday, assembled within the premises of Naib Tehsil office, were anguished to see that the office is locked and nobody is there.
Abdul Jabbar, one of the locals, said, “I have seen that the office has been closed for the last four months.”
He added that it is shocking that Newa village is only four kilometres from district headquarter Pulwama and still it is the plight of government offices here.
When contacted, Ramzan Magray, In-charge Naib Tehsildar Newa Pulwama, said, “The reports are false and concocted.”
However, the locked images of the Naib Tehsil office prove this fact that the Naib Tehsil office Newa was locked on Tuesday.
