SRINAGAR — Twenty-one travellers and two minors were among 60 new COVID-19 cases even as one person died due to the virus in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.
They said that 13 among them were reported from Jammu Division and 47 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case count to 125268, the officials said.
Also, one more person died due to the pestilence in Jammu Division and took the number of people succumbing to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir to 1949—724 in Jammu and 1225 in the Valley.
Providing district-wise breakup, they said, Srinagar reported 27 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 4, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 2, Shopian 0, Jammu 10, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 1, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.
Moreover, they said, 77 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—nine from Jammu Division and 68 from Kashmir.
